During the academic year the Innovation Salon is a monthly get together of faculty, staff, students and community members to discuss innovative ideas in a particular field. Each month the Salon features an academic unit on campus or innovative research in the region. Come learn what innovative ideas are “brewing” around campus and the region!


Upcoming Event: Innovation and Big Data

The Innovation Salon in November will feature a discussion about the latest innovations in Big Data. Our panel includes CSUMB's own Babita Gupta along with Kanav Hasija and Adwait Shashank from Innovaccer in Palo Alto. Innovaccer's mission is to "mine the new oil of the world-data" with an interdisciplinary team of coders, statisticians, domain analysts, and designers.

Bring your own lunch! We will provide coffee!
